Guyton, Nanette. “Pembroke Town Council Gives Support to Drama Study.” Robesonian 3 March 1992: 1A.
The study will help decide whether to move Strike at the Wind! to Lumberton. The play’s artistic director supports moving the drama to I-95, making it more accessible to its primary audience, tourists (see his letter, 4 July 1993: 7A). Lumberton City Council approved a recommendation by David Carter, chairperson of Robeson Historical Drama Association, to move the play to Lumberton (27 July 1993: 1A). Randolph Umberger might revoke the rights to the play if changes aren’t made within a year (19 Aug. 1993: 1A).
