Compared drinking patterns of Baltimore and Pembroke Lumbees, considering age, education, occupational satisfaction, church attendance, and commitment to work.  More Baltimore than Pembroke Lumbees were heavy drinkers, and the latter were more often abstainers.  Presented at the 32nd Int’l. Congress on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Warsaw, Poland, Sept. 3-8, 1978.  See  proceedings, vol. 3, pp. 165-77.
