Annotation:

On Saturday, June 10, the 450-acre North Carolina Indian Cultural Center will hold an open house to showcase recently completed renovations. Admission is free, although a $4.00 fee is assessed for use of the pool. There will be a cookout, a strong-man exhibition (Harold “Iron Bear” Collins will pull a semi-truck), and opportunities for canoeing and fishing. The Cultural Center hopes to do more outreach and attraction of visitors, as well as more fundraising so that needed camping facilities, walking trails, and model Indian villages can be developed.
