Uses the National Well Water Association's DRASTIC and Pesticide DRASTIC Indices, related to landcover analysis from satellite imagery, to assess the county's groundwater pollution potential from both water and agricultural sources. Chapter III gives background data on the physiography (including Carolina bays), climate, population, geology and hydrogeology, and land use of the county.
