Historical overview occasioned by a bill requesting funding of a school for Croatan children (Bibliography entry 1315).  Croatans number “about 5,000.”  Some have migrated to Georgia, Mississippi, and Florida.  Notes their War of 1812 service and propensity to violence.  Microfilmed by the Library of Congress.
