Letter from the Cherokee Indians of Robeson and Adjacent Counties.  The Siouan Bill sets aside the Lost Colony theory, claiming county Indians are descended from runaway slaves, stray seamen, forest rovers, and wasted native tribes.  See  D. F. Lowry’s statement, same page.
