Jacobs, Chick. "Cooper announces major funding for Robeson County." The Fayetteville Observer [Fayetteville, NC]. June 28, 2017.

Annotation:

On Wednesday, Robeson County received nearly $70 million in disaster assistance. "'We have begun, but there’s still a long way to go,’” says Cooper  (para. 4). This money will go toward nonprofit groups like United Way. An additional grant has been requested for different projects associated with the damage from Hurricane Matthew. Cooper says the city wants to repair damages as well as prevent future damages from natural disasters. Infrastructure repair for roads and sewer systems is still lacking funding. Cooper says that a lot has been done, but there is a lot more to do.
