This article anounces that Strike at the Wind! is back in performance at the Adolph Dial Amphitheater. The season runs from July 1 through August 26, with performances each Friday and Saturday evening. For more information, see http://www.strikeatthewind.com. The outdoor drama began in 1976 and ran through 1996, when it closed due to money shortages. It reopened in 2000, only to close again for financial reasons after the 2003 season. The drama has been revived by the Carolina Arts Network, whose president is Malinda Maynor Lowery. The organization has used monetary and labor donations to make several improvements to the amphitheater. A major goal of the organization is to widen the reach of Strike at the Wind! in order to boost Robeson County's economy, mitigating the effects of the many lost manufacturing jobs.

The article also lists numerous individuals involved in the production, including director David Oxendine, who has been on board for fourteen productions; Steve Tyner, stage manager, who was a drama teacher at Purnell Swett High School for thirty years; and Willie French Lowery, who wrote the music for the production and serves as its music director.
